The overarching topic of her work is the cartographic map symbology of terrain hatching. Her complex of works is based on memories and experiences, inner and outer landscapes that can continuously change--it is about a mental cartography in which the view of the landscape is compressed in its distance into a visible, working magnetic field. This book focuses on the last ten years of work, rounded off by a short cycle of poems by the Paris-based poet Jochen Winter.
